Mark Green, President
NDP founder and president Mark Green is also the president of Air America Media.  He is the author/editor of 22 books including the bestselling Who Runs Congress? and The Book on Bush (with Eric Alterman).  He is co-editor of the  forthcoming Change for America (Basic Books, 2009), was the elected Public Advocate for New York City, and co-hosts, with Arianna Huffington, the weekly radio show "7 Days in America."

Lauren J. Strayer, Executive Director
Lauren Strayer is the co-author of Defend Yourself! How to Protect Your Money, Your Health and Your Rights in 10 key Areas of Your Life (Newmarket Press, 2006), editorial director of the forthcoming Change for America (Basic Books, 2009) -- for which she penned an online essay on the Corporation for Public Broadcasting -- and was a producer at Air America Media.  She joined NDP in 2004.
